The Formentor peninsula is located at the northern end of the Sierra de tramuntana (world heritage), where the lighthouse of Formentor is located as the most distant point, where on clear days you can see Menorca island. The curved road that leads to the lighthouse has several viewpoints where you can observe the views, as well as crystal clear water beaches. The most famous sandy beach is Formentor but there are also Cala Figuera and Cala Murta.

Tramuntana mountains

Tramuntana Mountains are a paradise for hikers and climbers. Craggy rock formations and leafy forests extend over more than 90 kilometers across the northern island. If you like nature, you can find here a unique event in the absolute idyll and discover a new facet of the island.
